Hybrid Ceramic Bearings

Ceramic bearings are comprised of ceramic rolling elements balls enclosed in a ferrous typically steel inner and outer race.

In addition to being excellent electric insulators hybrid bearings have a higher speed capability 1 2 1 5 time limit of rotations compared to steel bearing and will provide longer service life lower friction and a lower level of energy consumption than all steel bearings. As we ve mentioned hybrid ceramic bearings have a great reputation for being stronger lighter and for lasting longer than other materials.

In addition to being excellent electric insulators hybrid bearings have a higher speed capability and will provide longer service life than all steel bearings in most applications. Hybrid ceramic bearings have traditional 52100 steel or stainless steel rings with ceramic silicon nitride si3n4 balls. We also build ceramic bearings i e bearings with ceramic races but they are not as common because they are less durable. Mrc hybrid ceramic ball bearings use a combination of traditional 52100 steel rings precision matched with silicon nitride ceramic balls.

Ceramic hybrid bearings are available in variety of sizes and styles. These bearings are more or less what i expected 2 of the bearings came bad but they are extremely silent the ceramic ball does its job but the speed lubricant is basically useless because i have to push every 5 seconds to get more speed would recommend to newer skaters who just want to buy some decent bearings but for professional use. As the bearing race rotates it causes the balls to rotate.
