I Have Water Under My Laminate Flooring

Why is water seeping up through our laminate wood floor.

I have water under my laminate flooring.

For how long it has been like that i am not sure. For this reason homeowners often choose to replace the entire floor instead of repairing just the damaged portion. I have had a water leak from my dishwasher and the water has seeped under my laminate flooring. The line on the back of my fridge that goes to the ice maker has a small tear in it.

When the water reaches under laminate flooring the water must be removed immediately. Anyways my flooring is wood laminate and last night i noticed that a couple planks of the laminate flooring was swelling at the seems. There are no water spots in the ceiling and no evidence of water when looking in the attic above. If the water is not pervasive you may be able to extract it with a wet dry vacuum.

We have found a puddle of water in the office room of our house for the past week. My whole house is laminate and all the same color and seamless. I need a soft flooring and tile is not an option. Water under wood laminate flooring.

Water under laminate flooring. I had this same problem in my former home. The house is over 100 years old but the office room was an addition that is newer. I am in need of some advice.
