Installing Kitchen Cabinets Over Laminate Flooring

I just recently did a remodel to my kitchen and used armstrong pacific heights wood laminate the kind that locks together.

The potential of mismatched flooring one downside of installing risers or different flooring is that you add a complication if you wish to change the kitchen footprint in the future. To keep the floor flush consider installing a different cheaper type of flooring underneath cabinets and appliances or even plywood risers. If the flooring were to expand due to high humidity levels or other moisture sources the floor could potentially buckle. Installing these items on top of your new flooring will cause pressure and not let the flooring expand and contract to temperature changes. Install plywood in remaining area to exact height of tile floor to finish cabinet install.

Not sure what the thickness of your flooring is but make sure the cabinets are raised the same amount as the thickness of the floor by putting plywood or something similar under them so that the dishwasher does not get trapped once the countertop is on.
